It’s been one year plus two days since J. and I arrived in the cold winter of The Pas. To mark the occasion, we made a calendar of our photos to give away to a few people at Christmas. Thought I’d share the images, and details of where they were taken. And, by the way: Happy New Year!

Beautiful imagery to match your beautiful prose and poetry
Thanks, Deepam 🙂
Pelicans are one of my favourite birds!! Never seen white ones! Very cool that they are right behind your house!! Lovely pictures… I see the fisherman is in his element!
Right now I can’t love winter, but my eyes can’t ignore the beauty either.
Love that Church, Always wanted to live in a church. That one might need a little more insulation!

Winter seems to be tough all over this year! Stay warm, Jayne, and Godspeed with heading back to work 🙂
Not sure if you’re “there” yet emotionally but IMO Manitoba is Canada’s best kept secret. Nice pictures.
I agree with that! It’s so beautiful, and, hey, pelicans! My jaw dropped several times this past summer when I saw them floating over our house.
