We made it!
Finished our nearly 3,000 km drive to walk across the threshold of our new house around 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon and have been unloading our U-Haul since then.
Everything survived – except maybe my knee and J.’s back , but nothing a little time (and Ibuprofen) won’t heal. Writing this over Wi-Fi at Tim Horton’s as we’ve yet to get our Internet, etc., up and running. After the last grueling little while, we’re ready for a bit of a break!
More to come soon from our home in The Pas.
Did you say TIM HORTONS???? Well, you’re all Set.
So glad you made it safe and sound.

Thanks, guys. Yes, we are thankful for our local Ti-Ho’s :0)
So glad you are safely home. We had Derryl and Jean here for a few days. They left today. I just got home from seeing “War Horse”, the stage production, which was amazing. I wish you could have been there. Sue got tickets given to her so it was a real treat. I can’t wait to hear all about your new home and all the details about the town, the weather, the new job etc. I miss you a lot already but it’s really good to know you are safe. Lots of love, Mom/Joy
Wish we could have been there, Joy. More posts to come and best of luck braving the school storms!
Welcome home. We will miss you this week at thebrownstone
I thought of you all at 4 pm, when dusk started up here. Raise a glass for me next week!
