Well, here it is… I am beyond thrilled to share with you the final version of the cover for my new novel designed by the brilliant Natalie Olsen at Calgary’s Kisscut Design.

Isn’t it pretty?! I even love the spine and the back… To get your hands on a copy, you can now pre-order through Amazon, Chapters, my favourite local indie bookstore, McNally Robinson, or yours. And, if you’re a Goodreads reader, it’s posted there as well so I’d love it if you’d stop by that page and let me know if it’s on your TBR (‘to be read’) list.

In other long overdue news, my mom did an eloquent and insightful interview last month with Turnstone about her artistic process and ideologies and the gorgeous painting that became the cover for Following Sea. You can read that right here.

After posting it to Facebook (yes, I’m back on there, long story…), a musician friend of my sister’s sent me a picture of his inspiration wall, with her encouragement front and centre. So great!

More soon! In the meantime, I hope you’re having some picnics and binging on barbecue or at least, you know, taking a half-hour every now and then in a hammock….
